The International Cork Fair (Ficor) returns this year with the celebration of its fifth edition, positioning San Vicente de Alcántara as the epicenter of the cork sector. The town will host this reference event for professionals in the sector, cork industry, wineries, and fields impacting the local economy on April 17, 18, and 19 at the Multiusos Pavilion.
The opening ceremony will take place tomorrow, April 18, at 11 a.m. and will be attended by Government Delegate José Luis Quintana, Forestry Management Councilor Ignacio Higuero de Juan, the president of the Provincial Council of Badajoz Miguel Ángel Gallardo, and the mayor of the town, Andrés Hernáiz.
As in previous editions, the company GRANULEXT will be present at the fair with its own stand, where visitors can see a wide range of our products and the most cutting-edge technologies in the Granulated Cork sector.
